ANDREWS, DR. CHET; LEAD PASTOR.jpg

Dr. Chet Andrews

Lead Pastor

The love of my life is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is why I exist. My beautiful bride Hope and I are blessed with four amazing children (Jake, Jonah, Faith, and Josh). Hope and I cherish the opportunity to raise them up in the joy of Christ Jesus and are understanding more and more every day that, “children are a heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3).

I was born and raised in Cayce, SC where I received my call to ministry at First Baptist Church, Cayce SC. I have been a pastor for over 24 years and I have served churches in Hopkins, SC, Kings Mountain, NC, Duncan, SC, Charleston, SC, and Greer, SC.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of South Carolina. My Master of Divinity is from Gardner-Webb University. In 2014 I completed my Doctor of Ministry from North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC. My doctoral dissertation was on equipping parents to disciple their children.

Health and Fitness are very important to me. I enjoy hiking, biking, and weight training. I want to be physically able to do whatever and go wherever God calls at any moment. I also enjoy following the Gamecocks and the Atlanta Braves. But most of all I enjoy spending time with my family.

Rev. Josh Lamb

Pastor of Youth & Young Adults

Research shows that vast majority of Christians begin their walk with Christ before the age of 18. Because of this, Josh believes youth ministry is a vital part of kingdom work. His approach is to simply teach the bible in a clear way that is both challenging yet comprehendible.

Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from North Greenville University in 2016 and is pursuing a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served at several churches in both full time and part time capacities. Josh married his high school sweetheart, Allie, in 2017, and they have two sons: Sullivan and Porter. Lastly, Josh enjoys going to the gym, sitting by campfires, and watching the latest tv show with a cup of herbal tea.
