We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God revealed to humanity. The Bible is the foundation for what we believe and how we should live our lives. We subscribe to the doctrinal statements of The Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ who are personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost humanity. Because the good news of Christ is the only true source of hope in this fallen world, we boldly proclaim the Gospel to all people. Below, you'll see how our beliefs inform our three guiding principles: Glorifying, Growing, and Going. You can also check out our Statement of Basic Beliefs.

We believe God deserves all glory

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth"

(Genesis 1:1, ESV).

Before time, before the world, before humanity, God existed, wholly perfect and wholly satisfied in His glory. He created humanity for the purpose of glorifying Him and enjoying Him forever. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and the one true God, worthy of our devotion and our praise. Because of who He is, we offer Him the glory and worship he so richly deserves. Because of Christ's finished work on the cross, all who believe on the name of Jesus may approach God as His children and worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

"I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you"

(Psalm 119:11, ESV).

The Bible commands us to grow as believers, both in our individual faith, and as a community. We grow in our individual faith by faithfully reading God's word, devoting time to prayer, and sharing our faith with those we interact with in our daily lives. As a community, we grow by gathering together to Worship God, by diving deep into the Scriptures together in Sunday School classes, and by loving our community and the world through various outreach opportunities.

We believe we should Go

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age”

(Matthew 28:19-20, ESV).

Jesus commands believers to share the Gospel with the world around us. This world is so obviously broken and hurting, and we, as believers have the only true source of hope. Simply put, we go because we must.
